Help Andrea & Chavo After Eaton Fire

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Andrea Robles after the Eaton Fire has devastated Andrea and her family.

I met Andrea in 8th grade at Marshall Fundamental Secondary School in Pasadena. Andrea and I were on the Dance Team together, we were in each other's quinceañeras, we served on cabinets of school clubs together, and we served the Altadena & Pasadena communities together. I love Andrea and her family. It hurts to see my beautiful friend and her family in so much pain after the place they called home and grew up in burned down.

After her parents and brothers moved out, Andrea was living in and caring for the family home. She lived there with her dog, Chavo, a sweet and loving pit bull. She has lost not just the basics but every irreplaceable item; from family heirlooms, books, plants, artwork, to one-of-a-kind Polaroids and photos, and all her memory boxes that held items from her childhood.

I’ve seen Andrea make this home her sanctuary. Andrea and I painted her bedroom together, including a fun purple closet! I saw her family remodel and update everything inside and outside the house.

This is where Chavo grew up and has been his only home. He is very confused and probably wondering when he will go home :(

We are asking for your support, no matter how big or small, to cover unexpected costs and help her get back on her feet during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation will go towards assisting Andrea and Chavo with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid.

- Retail stores such as Target to replace things that Andrea lost

- Pet stores

Immediate Needs: Clothes, food, and basic living supplies as she stays with family.

Andrea’s Clothing Size: Women’s L/XL

Andrea’s Shoe Size: Women’s 9-9.5

Pet Supplies: Orthopedic dog bed, shampoo, towel, and blankets. Funds will also go towards a vet visit and flea and heartworm prevention medication.

Finding a Home: Funds may also go towards finding a place to call home, which would include rent and furnishing the place.

Emotional Support: Beyond financial assistance, your prayers, love, and emotional support mean the world to her and her family.

The short-term plan is to find a rental in the greater Pasadena area. If you have any leads on dog-friendly homes available to rent long-term, please let us know.
