Help Andrea Fight Leukemia

This Go-Fund me has been created to raise funds for Andrea and her family to help cover expenses that have came along with this life altering obstacle. Let me start by sharing a little bit about my little sister…

Andrea grew up in Liverpool, New York, and graduated from Liverpool High School. After graduating she moved on to following her true passion and that was becoming a teachers assistant for special needs children!

On Saturday morning 6/4/2022 Andrea was diagnosed with Acute polymyceloic leukemia (APL). Andrea was immediately admitted to inpatient oncology at upstate where she will remain for next 5 weeks . I’m these upcoming 5 weeks she is to under several bone marrow biopsy’s, a possible port placement, blood transfusions and the worst of part of it all the aggressive chemotherapy. When Andrea is allowed and deemed safe enough to recover at home- She is still expected to be out of work for at least 6 to 8 months. Fortunately for Andrea this cancer has a good prognosis - but it’s going to be a long and grueling road ahead of her… In order to help keep my sister focused on getting better and not the burden and the stresses of her finances…. Unfortunately the monthly expenses won’t slow down for her to worry about just the cancer…

Our family sincerely appreciates all of the help we can get during this time. It’s devastating to watch such a sweet, caring and compassionate woman go through such a horrible thing.
