Help Andrea Find a New Home After Wildfires
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
I need you more than ever right now. I've been displaced due to the California fires that ravaged through all adjoining towns and across the city. It's been a shock to thousands of us. My heart goes out to everyone.
I am so grateful to have lived in this most magical forest of old oaks, ravens, song birds, bob cats, fox, squirrels and the masked critters that come out at night... the raccoons. The coyotes announcing their presence in packs when they find a late night meal. All the sounds of nature have been with me here for 7 beautiful years, and as of this February I would have been starting my 8th year but by the 17th I need to be in a new home.
The wildness of my surroundings has been my sanctuary. The rolling mountains that speak to me and the forest that awaits me daily has filled my heart with a joy that I won't ever be able to explain.
The deer, the bunnies and the hummingbirds are always reminding me that nature is my nourishment. The turkey vultures soar over my head like airplanes looking for lunch, and then drying their feathers in the morning with outstretched wings warming up from the cold canyon that we all sleep in here. The fog drop like a blanket over the mountain and so much more I will hold and cherish deeply in my heart because this was heaven. It will come with me.
When finding out I had less than 30 days to find a home, which now is under 3 weeks, I was shocked. It was a punch to the gut as I had just breathed a sigh of relief that our home remained after 11 days of evacuation.
With so many displaced people, who have less than 30 days, we are flooding the market at once and I've not been able to find anything in California. My prayers go out to each and everyone who is struggling through this devastation. I have had to come to terms with moving out of California because of this situation and I wasn't prepared to relocate at this time. I still don't know where I am going as things pop up and are taken within seconds.
Each day I seek guidance from within and I trust I will be led to a new mystical magnificent home of great beauty that nurtures my heart, mind, body and soul.
It's humbling to feel this helpless.
And it is why I reach out to you because I need you. This is where I am. I appreciate you opening your heart to me in whatever you can. Words, a donation, a connection to a temporary home, a storage unit, whatever it is that you have to give, even if it is your prayers, I humbly ask for your support.
I trust God is a good gift giver and that I am provided for, even if I don't know the next step until the moment arises, this moment I am in and was guided to reach out to you to ask for your support.
Thank you for taking the time to reach this, and thank you for extending your heart to me in whatever form that takes. I need you. I appreciate you.
Love,
Andrea
