Help Andrea get the hip replacement she needs!

Anyone that knows Andrea knows that she is constantly moving; either with her kids, at work, or being physically active. She has always used running as a way to relieve any stress, and over the past decade or so, she has become more serious, running almost daily. She has completed two half marathons, two tough mudders, a 10k, and dozens of 5ks. A couple of years ago she ran into some challenges in her hip that she could no longer ignore and was given a cortisone injection with positive results. A few months later, she underwent arthroscopic hip surgery to repair a torn labrum. things seemed to be going well for a few months, but as PT became more intense and required more weight-bearing activities, the pain resurfaced. Two more cortisone injections later with no change, her limping progressed, and at times certain movements dropped her to the floor. She was waitressing as a second job and was forced to stop. She began using her crutches again at her full-time job. In October she made a move to Illinois and the pain was intensified even more so. This has prevented her from many job opportunities as she cannot move easily without pain. She reports her mental health is declining because what she once did to relieve stress, is no longer an option. She repeatedly states that this is not the life she wants to live and gets depressed every time she can't perform a simple task or has to miss out on things with her children. Sleep isn't possible without pain. November 30th she went to an appointment at the American Hip Institute and was told that there was no cartilage left in her left hip socket, bone against bone, and was diagnosed with avascular necrosis. The bone tissue is dying beyond repair. Andrea will need a total hip replacement. She does not have adequate insurance to provide her with the hip replacement she needs. At the reduced self-pay rate, she needs to come up with $40,000 to cover the cost of the surgery. If you are able to contribute any amount or pass this along, I know she would be grateful and more than appreciative.
