Help Andres Feed and Care for Altadena

My name is Vanessa Rud, and I am organizing this to help raise funds for my dear friend Andres of Zorthian Ranch in Altadena. The ranch, along with all the resources that Andres has poured his heart into providing for the community, have been lost.

If you know Andres, you know he has a huge heart. He has always gone above and beyond to support those in need. At Zorthian Ranch, Andres gave work and dignity to individuals who had nowhere else to turn—those recently out of prison, on probation, or struggling with addiction but striving to rebuild their lives. He extended his hand to those forgotten by society, providing hope and opportunity where there was none.

Even now, after facing unimaginable loss, Andres continues to give. While caring for the livestock that survived, he’s feeding and supporting people in the Altadena community who, like him, have lost so much. His vision remains steadfast: to care for those left behind—those who, in the weeks and months ahead, may find themselves with nothing and nowhere to go.

Andres has always been a beacon of kindness and resilience, giving all of himself to everyone he meets. Now it’s our turn to give back to him.
