Help Andrew Sa make his first album
Donation protected
Hey there, queer alt-country singer-songwriter “Lonesome” Andrew Sa here looking for your help in making a dream come true. After playing live around Chicago for the last DECADE, I’m finally recording my first album! I’ve hooked up with North Carolinians H.C. McEntire (producer and co-writer), Luke Norton (co-writer and guitar/piano), and Missy Thangs (producer) to record at the historic Fidelitorium in Kernersville, NC. In December of 2022 we laid down the first six tracks, including favorites “Gorgeous Things” and “Under You” (written for me by Liam Kazar) as well as brand new material, and we are set to record the rest in early June before Fidelitorium sadly closes their doors for good.
I found a beautiful partnership with H.C. As a queer artist herself we’ve been able to create in a way that feels very genuine and collaborative, finding quick kinship in our perspectives and tastes. She’s been a great mentor who pushes me deeper into my work. The recordings we’ve made so far have gone well beyond what I could have ever anticipated and I’d love to be able to finish this project with her and the team she’s put together.
That’s where you come in! This money will cover the rest of the recording costs: studio time, session musicians, producers, airfare, overdubs, mixing, etc. With the current state of things in this country, it’s hard to get anything made, but with your help, this lover's album can be possible.
