Help Andy Bucher recover

My good friend Andy Bucher was the sole victim of a driveby shooting spree by a man who lives next door to him. The offender was caught after he unsuccessfully shot at another person several hours later. Andy was shot in the face with a hand gun, but miraculously survived. The offender shot at him 10 times, but thankfully only one bullet hit Andy. The angels were surely looking out for him! The bullet entered his face from the side, went in under one eye, and exited on the other side. His upper jaw, cheekbones and nasal cavity were severely damaged. He has endured a lengthy hospital stay initially, other stays following surgeries and unspeakable pain. He has already suffered through multiple surgeries and faces many more still. His jaw was wired shut for 12 weeks. This sort of trauma requires massive reconstruction, both internally and externally.

While Andy does have insurance, the costs are extraordinary, as you can imagine. He is unable to work, and not yet retirement age, so he still relies on income from his job. The costs are mounting, and the added anxiety is not helpful for his recovery.
