Help Anfisa injured in Ukraine during the bombing

We are all heartbroken with the terrible invasion that Russia launched on Ukraine. Just like many of my friends I started looking for ways to help Ukrainian people to deal with this unprecedented situation. While traditional charities are doing an amazing job raising money and helping people, I want to focus on specific families I personally know and I want these people to chose how to use the funds that we will collect.

I've known Anfisa for 2 years. She is my daughter's flute teacher from Kharkiv, Ukraine. True professional, devoted music teacher whose passion was inspirational for my daughter. When the was started on February 24th, Anfisa asked me to send her salary to charities supporting the Ukrainian military instead of to her. "These people need it more than I do". Anfisa managed to conduct her online classes from the shelter, between bombings and shellings.

On the night of March 8th, a rocket hit her house, injuring her and her 13-year-old daughter. Luckily, her husband and son were in the other room and were not injured, they helped the girls get out of the wreck. The fire that broke right away destroyed their house, all their property, and all their belongings. Empty-handed and injured they started fleeing to Europe from the war zone. Anfisa needs to go through surgery because her facial bones are broken. Her 13 years old daughter also has facial injuries in addition to severe emotional trauma.

We are collecting money to help Anfisa with the medical expenses and to get the basic goods she and her kids need in the new place.
