Help Ang Family Rebuild After Devastating Fire in East Van

On Monday, October 7, Merissa and Mark Ang, along with their two children, Abigail (10) and James (7), experienced an unimaginable tragedy when their home in Strathcona, East Vancouver, was destroyed in a multi-home fire. In an instant, everything they owned was lost, leaving them displaced and heartbroken.

Merissa, Mark, Abigail, and James are now without a home and all of their belongings. Their duplex house, which held years of memories, was reduced to ashes, and they are now in urgent need of help to rebuild their lives.

While they are grateful to have each other, the emotional toll of losing their family home and being displaced from their community has been overwhelming—especially for their young children.

The Ang family is seeking financial support to help them find affordable housing for their family of four and to replace essential items as they begin the difficult process of starting over.
