ONE MONTH TO ACHIEVE!!!! Visiting for mentorship, not moving!

Hi my name is Angel Virtuoso and I’m a freelance Wardrobe Stylist, Creative Director, and Producer/Director of my own multimedia fashion event named The Black Heart Event. I have been tuned in with seasoned celebrity Stylist and Mentor Brittany Diego for a couple of years now, and I today came across her in person 3 day workshop happening in January in Los Angeles that I feel would change my life and the trajectory of my career. This is the ONLY in person class she is having this year. She will be giving us access to real showrooms, connections for pulls, jobs in the industry etc. I would really love to attend so this year to learn more about my field and apply myself through being a student and making impactful connections.

Mentorship is key in any endeavor because the process is hands on, the mentor is forgiving and corrective of mistakes, encouraging, helpful with connections, and is focused on educating someone to elevate within their respective interests.

On this journey I have made it possible to be, but not limited to, published in 4 different countries, showcase in Paris multiple times (with money coming from my own blood sweat and tears), model, and produce my own shows (also with my blood sweat and tears lol). I have always put my best foot forward to enhance community engagement, and to set an example for those around me who want to showcase themselves as well. Somehow I still am able to experience abundance because of what people, like yourself, sees in me.

Brittany Diego is a celebrity Stylist, author, and mentor that has a resume including Lori Harvey, MTV, Samsung, BET, and who’s work has been featured on Oprah’s OWN, WWD, INSTYLE MAGAZINE, WSJ, Samsung, Oscars, and Emmys. The list continues and continues. As a Black woman who is settled in this career of Wardrobe/Personal Styling, she is the PERFECT person to begin the path of mentorship in a major fashion hub, and help my career catapult through REAL industry connections that will automatically benefit me as I continue to work towards my goals.

Her alumni’s have gone onto style covers and full spreads in Harpers Bazaar, Grammys, celebs, in Fashion Weeks, etc!!! They have also worked as Fashion Assistants for people like LAW ROACH!!!!!! The proof is in the pudding!!

I also want to say that I’ll be taking the days I’m in LA to further capitalize outside of her program and utilize my own skills and connections to go visit more show rooms, do photoshoots if possible, and hand out my resume and portfolio to agencies, brands, and other resources

The breakdown of this amount I’ve asked is:

-$1200 for the 3 day course itself

-$300 for transportation to LA

If I don’t meet my goal but still have received donations, I will be putting the money towards another business attribute such as getting my name trademarked, a website, etc that can help me become more solid and appear more professional.
