Help Angela & Christopher Recover from Catastrophic Damage

My name is Ashley Kubota, and I’m a Boone local who created this campaign on behalf of friends of mine — Angela & Christopher King.

I’m reaching out to ask for your assistance in helping them recover after losing their home during Hurricane Helene. Beloved community members Angela & Christopher, along with their three daughters, had to quickly evacuate as their home became unsafe. Thankfully, they made it to safety and were able to take shelter in a local hotel for the duration of the storm.

Unfortunately, their home and belongings were completely destroyed. This tragedy has come at an already difficult time, as the family is also navigating Christopher's cancer treatment.
