Help Angela Heat Her Home
Donation protected
Angela is the type of person who would give the shirt off her back to help another human being. She’s the type of person that let a single mother with a baby girl move in for a few months during the COVID pandemic without hesitation. She’s also the type of person that hid from her children that her heating has been out for over a year because she didn’t want to burden them.
Currently, she has space heaters to warm her house and with the harshness of this winter already, and in the months predicted, it would be dangerous to let them run for as long as they need to warm her home.
A wonderful small HVAC repair business has offered to donate their time to replace her HVAC system. They generously said they could replace the heating for $2000 and her central air as well for $1200 extra which basically means they are doing this for free labor out of the kindness of their heart.
I’m working on getting the financial aspect taken care of. Angela was her mother’s primary caregiver for five years and began working when her mother passed away 12/24/18. Once the COVID pandemic hit Kentucky this year it prevented her from working. All of her money has gone towards recent bills and she doesn’t have enough to cover the replacement. As her daughter, I’m exploring opening credit cards and doing what I can to help. However, any donations can help. If we somehow raise over $3200, the rest will go towards the small business to pay for their labor.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring for my mother and any money or prayers you can send her way.
