As many of us watched the news Monday night from the comfort and safety of our homes, Gatlinburg TN and its surrounding areas went up in flames and burned to the ground right before our eyes. My name is Christin Carter from Dallas, TX. I have known Angela for 20yrs and call her one of my closest friends and was shocked and saddened to hear how devastatingly she had been affected by this tragedy.
Angela Quigley and her 7yr old son Austin lost their home Mon night in the Gatlinburg Wildfire. She only had enough time to safely evacuate herself & Austin before they were forced out of their home by the encroaching flames with just the clothes on their backs. Nothing is left of the home Angela loved & Austin played in but the foundation...everything has been lost. Being a single parent, Angela is a planner and had completed her Christmas shopping for Austin slowly throughout the year in order to provide her son a magical holiday - that is now destroyed and evaporated into the smoke and ash that is left behind.
Angela has always had a nurturing and generous heart...she has been there for friends and family on numerous occasions throughout the years. Please consider giving back to her and her son Austin... She needs it now more than ever. Please help this wonderful woman and her son. Anything and everything makes a difference and we want to see them up on their feet soon, because this will be a grieving process, but we can make a difference both immediate and long term for them!
Money raised will go to purchasing clothing, shoes, kitchen items, toiletries, bedding, toys, household items, buying a new home, and other needs....Again...everything is gone.
Thank you for your help!
