Help Angela Recover and Rebuild After Ankle Surgery

Hello, friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

My name is Angela, and I’m reaching out for your support during a challenging time in my life. Since relocating to St. Petersburg in July to pursue new opportunities and dreams, I’ve been working hard to establish myself in this wonderful city. However, life took an unexpected turn in early August when I was involved in an accident that resulted in a painful ankle injury.

After consulting with an orthopedic surgeon, it became clear that surgery was necessary to repair the damage. In late August I underwent ankle surgery. While the procedure itself went as planned, the road to recovery has been more difficult than I anticipated.

As a result of the accident, I lost my part-time job. This job was not only crucial for covering my living expenses but also vital for funding my goal of starting a business here in St. Petersburg. The loss of income has put me in a precarious financial situation, and I am struggling to manage the following:

Housing: Without income, I’m finding it increasingly difficult to cover my rent and utility bills. Losing my home would not only be emotionally devastating but also disruptive to my recovery and future plans.

Medical Bills: Medical expenses are rapidly accumulating. I’m deeply concerned about how to manage these bills while trying to focus on my recovery.

Business Re-establishment: Before the accident, I was excited about launching my business in St. Petersburg. This dream will take time but I am determined to make it a reality. However, the financial strain is making it challenging to invest in the necessary resources to get my business off the ground.
