Help Angela Steel Fight for Her Family and Fight Cancer

Angela Steel is a 43-year-old mom and wife who was originally diagnosed with lung cancer (adenocarcinoma). She has worked in Hazel Green until a few weeks ago when she could no longer work due to her health. She underwent high-dose radiation in March of 2024. Since then, it has spread to her pancreas, liver, lymph nodes, and bile duct. She was given the option to keep fighting, which consists of two different chemo medications and immunotherapy medications every three weeks, and radiation every day for two weeks to treat the cancer in her bones and hopefully produce some pain relief.

As of 11/18/24, she was rushed by ambulance to Huntsville Hospital and was told her liver is failing quickly. She is not a candidate for surgery to reopen. If they cannot figure this out, she will die from liver failure rapidly.

Angela’s concern is her husband and her children she will be leaving behind. Her youngest son is 13. Her two oldest are both soon-to-be parents. She is also expecting her first grandchild in December, with a second grandchild being born in March.

Angela is a close friend. She is loved by so many. She has always been there for everyone else. I am asking for us to be there for her. She would be truly grateful for anything extra this tough season. Even the smallest amount will help pay for medical costs due to her inability to work. Thank you and God bless you all.
