Help Angela Wright's Family with Funeral Costs

Hello, everyone and welcome to the GoFundMe page of my late mother, Angela Wright. She was 59 years old and lived in Cleburne, Texas with her fiancé, Ray Coller. Together, they spent the better part of the last decade breathing life back into their house which was nearly condemned and created a home where they inspired friendship and love to a neighborhood that had all but given up on the property. Her care and attention caused people from all over the neighborhood to stop and stare as the transformation took place. Unfortunately, she passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of Saturday, September 7th, 2024.

​She and Ray decided that they would donate their bodies to science when they died because they did not want to burden their children with the financial strain that normally comes with the passing of a loved one. She had no life insurance, and she was not well off so this seemed to be a great way to help those in need, which was always her desire, along with alleviating her children of the financial stress she knew might accompany her passing. She trusted in me, her son Kevin Sampson, to handle the remainder of her financial and familial responsibilities.

She decided long ago that it would be up to me to take care of the arrangements for her celebration of life along with those responsibilities mentioned above. Unfortunately, she was taken from us much too soon and to make matters worse, her body was disqualified for the donation program due to the untimeliness of her death and we were told that the body hadn’t been delivered fast enough, and as a result, could not be used.

​The shock of her death was immediately followed by wave after wave of bad news. Additional expenses that were supposed to have been accounted for began to pile on one thing after another and I am completely unprepared for their cost. I wish that I did not have to ask for your help, but I fear that I am left with no other choice.

Aside from the cost of traveling to Texas to claim the body, sign and file the appropriate paperwork, and transport her remaining possessions home, I must come up with $3,000.00 for her cremation. Help me put my mother to rest in the manner that she deserves.
