Angels for Angie - COVID19 Recovery Fund

Family and friends,
On April 1, 2020, my mom, Angelica Rodriguez, was hospitalized due to complications from COVID19. She is a frontline healthcare worker and most likely contracted this unforgiving illness while at her hospital job as an EKG Technician.
While battling this virus, our mom was placed in a medically induced coma and on life support for 12 days. On April 19th, she was extubated and has slowly improved day by day. Our mom fought for her life to finally take a breath on her own.
Our mom has been hospitalized in the ICU for 28 days and counting. She still has a long road ahead of her. She is very weak, unable to talk or walk, and is only able to take in liquids and ice chips at this time. She has healthcare insurance that will cover some of her hospitalization but the remainder will far exceed what our family can afford.
Our mom is a dedicated wife, a loving mother, and an exceptional grandmother to her 12 grandchildren and great granddaughter. She has selflessly risked her own life to care for others during this pandemic. There is so much unknown ahead - whether she will ever be able to work again and whether she will have any long lasting effects of this virus. Please help in any way you can - she deserves any help that can be offered to her.
Thank you for all of your prayers, well wishes and for your generosity during this unprecedented time. As her daughter, I will be making withdrawals as necessary to pay for any medical bills or expenses until our mom is of sound mind and physically able to do so herself.
