Help Angie cover costs during recovery

I have not known Angie for very long however in the short amount of time I have known her I have learned very quickly that she is selfless, strong, capable, kind, intelligent, and has a strong relationship with God. She has a passion for helping those around her because she herself has experienced needing help when help was not an option. She put herself through nursing school so she can dedicate her life to caring for those in need all while raising four extremely bright, kind children. 


The unfortunate time has come where the caregiver needs care herself. Angie is currently experiencing a neurological event in which the doctors are unsure what the cause is. Initially the doctors believed she suffered from a stroke however upon further investigation they are looking into other causes for her neurological deficits. During this time, Angie will be unable to work and needs to put 100% of her energy into her recovery. She is a single mother of four and the sole provider for her family. This will be an extremely stressful and difficult time for her. Asking for assistance does not come easy to Angie, which is why her friends have taken that responsibility from her and will be reaching out to our community asking for any assistance people are willing to offer. We want to ensure Angie’s family is provided for and safe while she is on this very scary road to a medical diagnosis and ultimate recovery. As we do not know the prognosis of her current medical situation, we do not fully know the extent of need. We have set a fundraising goal to cover daily living costs for the next month to ensure there is food on the table and a roof over her children’s head. As we learn more information we will update this page with new fundraising goals and for updates on how Angie is doing. We also ask for prayers for Angie and her family during this difficult time.
