Help Angie Matsumoto Walk Again

Donation protected
On September 26th, 2023, Angie Matsumoto’s life took an unexpected turn when she suffered a sudden and life-altering stroke. Now in critical but stable condition, basic motor functions and speech are severely impaired. She is unable to eat through her mouth, and the left side of her body is largely paralyzed. She fights to regain memories each day.

The Help Angie Matsumoto Walk Again campaign has been established by family and close friends as an urgent request for direct financial support, which will be used to support the costs of rehabilitation and therapy, home care services, and in-home living modifications.

Angie's passion for life revolved around providing for her three children Akemi (19), Kiyomi (17), and Naomi (14), staying active, and enjoying the outdoors.

We are grateful for the outpouring of concern from friends, co-workers, and loved ones. Angie has always been the first to lend a helping hand, but now she’s the one who needs our support. Your generous contributions will go towards:

Rehabilitation and Therapy: Intensive and long-term physical and occupational therapy essential for rebuilding Angie’s strength and fundamental motor skills, restoring speech, and regaining her independence.

Home Care Services: Skilled home care professionals who will assist Angie with daily living activities and personal care.

In-Home Living Modifications: Accommodations for Angie’s mobility challenges while ensuring her safety and comfort.

With heartfelt gratitude, we thank you for joining us in making a difference in Angie's life and the lives of her children. Your kindness is a beacon of hope in the midst of these trying circumstances. Together, we can support her path to recovery.

With love and appreciation,
