Help Animals in Shelters

This campaign is in honor of Leo Jadevaia who was an unbelievably special pit bull who was rescued by my uncle. He was an amazing dog that loved life and lived a great life because of my uncle when he rescued him from a shelter after being a bait dog. It cannot be put into words what Leo meant to my uncle and he will be forever missed. He is the true meaning behind this campaign. I want to help give as many rescue animals, like Leo, an opportunity at a second chance at life because there's millions of dogs like Leo in our shelters that deserve a better life.
Roughly 7 to 8 million animals enter shelters each year. With such a large amount of animals going into shelters, the shelters across the country are spread extremely thin financially. They do not have proper or big enough budgets to maintain animals how they should. This means that the living conditions of these animals isn't always and most of the time is not ideal. Shelters try and save the animals but have to result to euthanasia because they simply cannot afford food or medical care for the animals. Shelters just cannot financially keep up and the animals pay the price. My girlfriend Alexis and I have been trying to start a non-profit organization to help with this issue but it takes money and time we don't have. That is why we decided to make a GoFund me page. ALL donations will go to local shelters to help with any necessities they need from food, beds/toys, to emergency medical care if an animal needs it. There are far too many suffering animals in our shelters and any donation no matter how small will go to help an animal in need. Your donations will give shelters more time to try and get these animals adopted.
