Help Anisa Honor Haris Cecunjanin with Leukemia Awareness
Tax deductible
Hello! My name is Anisa Cecunjanin, and for the main focus of my Capstone Senior project, I plan to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. On August 24th, 2004, my oldest brother, Haris Cecunjanin, passed away from this disease at just the age of four years old. If you are not familiar with leukemia, it's a cancer in the blood and bone marrow. It happens when an abnormal amount of white blood cells are forming but are working improperly. In honor of him, I created a project to raise leukemia awareness.
For my project, I've planned a "Kicking for Leukemia" youth soccer tournament. Being sold at the tournament, I've designed T-shirts with a central focus on leukemia, soccer, and my brother. All proceeds from them will be going to the LLS. Additionally, 20% of proceeds obtained from each tournament concession stand will be donated. This GoFundMe page is the last part of my project. It's vital to me to connect with the most people I can so I can have the opportunity to raise the most money possible while I have the capabilities to do so.
I live for my brother, and everything I do is for him. Living his legacy has been one of my biggest passions, and I'll forever continue to make his name known. Stripped of the beautiful life he could've lived, I take it upon myself to make sure I'm living this life to the fullest, not only for myself but for him too. My brother is my motivation to work hard, to reach my goals, never doubt myself, always be the best version of myself, and to never give up on anything.
As I'm entering my senior year, I've been looking forward to this project the most. I would greatly appreciate any donations, and I know my brother up there appreciates it all too. Every donation truly means so much. Thank you!
-Sincerely, Anisa Cecunjanin.
