HELP ANNA FONTENOT-SCHROLL FIGHT HER VISION LOSS
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Joan Fontenot, my siblings and I are fundraising for our sister Anna Fontenot-Schroll in order for her to be able to pay her newly aquired medical bills and the onset of additional living expenses due to the misfortune of losing her eyesight.
Anna has always been a very active independent person. She enjoys entertaining her family and friends. She has two fur babies, Milo and Coal that she enjoys walking in the park. She loves to see the sunrise and the changing colors of the night sky. She is a roadrunner per se, taking her neices and nephews to see new things.
Anna has been robbed of these simple life pleasures and activities due to a condition, "not yet diagnosed", causing her to lose her eyesight.
Imagine waking up one day to feed your dogs and all you see is a partial view of your surroundings, or speaking to someone and only seeing a portion of their face.
Irreversible blindness, something no one should endure, has casued countless trips to Houston Texas Medical Centers, numerous tests, procedures, and visual fields using dye trying to find the diagnosis, to no avail. This has brought on emotional distress, depression and her lack of a quality of life.
- Anna has since been unable to return to her job of 18 years, and has also loss the one priviledge we all enjoy.....driving. This not only took away her freedom it has been put into the mercy of others to depend on. She now has to have someone take her to her appointments in Houston, take her to grocery store, take her anywhere she must go, and depending on their monetary means in order to do so.
- It has caused major depression and anxiety over not being able to see and do for herself as before.
- It has caused many bills to accumulate and some are not covered by her insurance.
Please donate what you can. Your donations of any amount will help pay for a person that drives her to Houston's gas, and it pays for test she needs for a diagnosis and a hope of keeping it from progressing. Donations will be used to get a quick meal at the Hospital and maybe even to pay the parking fees. Any and all funds will be used appropriately.
Sincerely,
Joan Fontenot
