Help Anna get her wheels back on the road!

Our dear friend Anna has always been there for the community in every way imaginable. Generous with her time and energy, she has helped so many of us in so many ways. As a tireless champion of the New Orleans gardening scene and an amazing living resource of information and wisdom when it comes to horticulture, Anna is certainly a person worthy of our support.
Last week, Anna had her turn as a New Orleanian when her car was stolen from in front of her house. If you know Anna, you know that her schedule of outreach and providing information to gardeners in the greater New Orleans region as a cooperative extension agent keeps her incredibly busy and she is constantly on the move, whether it's teaching youth in St. Bernard parish, or providing resources on the westbank or doing work in downtown New Orleans.
In addition to her constant regional travel as an educator, Anna also generously gives her time and energy to the community in so many ways, including advising gardeners on so many digital forums and literally "answering the call" when she is needed.
Anna's car was stolen and she was very lucky to get it back after it was found with considerable damage. Wouldn't it be great if we could return the favor and help Anna out by softening the financial blow she's been dealt? I can't imagine anyone more deserving of our help in a time of need.
Anna has always been there for us as a community. Whether it is a single dollar or more, can we throw down a little to help take care of our friend that does so much for us?
I know not everyone can help, but if she's ever helped you or you've seen her generous and kind acts impact our community, would you consider helping to the best of your ability?
~~~INFO/FAQ~~~
- WHO/WHY?
Victor is setting this up for Anna. I did discuss it with her, and as usual, Anna was/is reluctant to accept help. This happens all the time with people that are so used to giving of themselves and of their own time and energy, that accepting help feels weird.
LET'S MAKE HER FEEL REAL WEIRD, Y'ALL.
- HOW MUCH MONEY?
Honestly, I just picked a number equal to about 3 times her initial repair estimate. The car has not gotten anything more than a once over, and we're not really sure how extensive the damage is. The worst part of this entire situation is that Anna just finished paying the car off after years! We all know that the cost of insurance and maintaining a car in New Orleans is insanely prohibitive, especially for so many of us battling the incredibly high cost of living here. But let's be real, I can think of no one more deserving of having reliable access to a car and transportation than Anna, who does more good with a car than anyone else I know.
Additionally, I'm asking for this amount because I want to make sure that Anna is covered for other expenses that will surely arise from not having her own vehicle such as car rental fees, delivery fees, and other transportation fees. Making sure that she is covered for any and all incidentals that arise as a result of vehicle theft will help a lot in the long run.
I can think of no better way of rewarding and caring for one of the most generous and kind people that I have the extremely good fortune of knowing and being associated with. Being Anna's friend is such an honor for me and I want all of us that can, to do right by her!
- CAN I BUG ANNA AT ALL HOURS OF THE DAY OR NIGHT WITH MY GARDENING QUESTIONS THAT SHE'S ALREADY ANSWERED A MILLION TIMES?
People already do that constantly, but Anna would probably prefer that you didn't.
Don't want to speak for her, but I have a pretty strong hunch about this.
Honestly, please reach out if you have any questions and I'll post updates. Thanks so much!
