Help Anna Get the Medical Assistance she needs

Hello, My name is Brianna, and I am setting up this fundraiser for my dear friend Anna. In May of 2019, Anna was diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation on the RASA1 gene. As a result of this mutation, she developed CM-AVM(a genetic condition affecting her blood vessel) in her legs and back, compounded with May Thurner Syndrome and Parkes Weber Syndromes. Each of which has a detrimental effect on her blood vessel function. Since her diagnosis, Anna has spent countless hours in the ER due to pain, swelling and even loss of mobility in her legs. Without a way to surgically operate due to her case's severity, Anna's only option is lifelong trials of oral chemotherapy treatments. Due to the effect of this medication and her genetic mutation being dominant, genetic testing and fertility treatments are required if Anna ever wishes to become a mother. With the combination of in and out visits to the hospital, disease progression and looking for better treatment options, the medical bills tend to stack up, as many may know. Anna is a full-time nursing student at Columbia College and full-time employee at Mark Twain medical Hospital, trying to pay her tuition and bills alongside medical expenses due to the lack of insurance coverage provided for her genetic mutation. Due to the limited window of time, Anna has to get many of these treatments done; we seek help where we can.
