Anna Lena attends the Summer Strings Academy!

Hello friends, family, and music lovers,

60 students were chosen from around the world to attend Mimi Zweig's (Joshua Bell's former violin teacher) Summer Strings Academy through the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, and Anna Lena has been accepted!

This prestigious, month-long summer camp boasts nearly 8.5 hours a day of music playing! Between practice time, chamber orchestra, private lessons, and master classes, Anna Lena will be unrecognizable when she returns from this unparalleled program!

Most of you know how hard Anna Lena already works to create violin magic: from waking around 5 am to practice her violin before school, to putting in close to 3 hours of practice a day between her violin and piano. She rehearses with her Philharmonia Orchestra in Madison on Saturdays for 4 hours as well. She is even composing a violin piece for her 8th-grade project.
