Help Ana walk again from severe burns on her legs
Donation protected
Hi this is Nahoko, I’m fundraising money to help Atsuko “Ana” recover and be able to walk again from severe burn injuries on both of her legs. Ana is the most nice, kind, and warm person you would meet with a big heart and a brightest smile, she is a wonderful wife to Akira, both of them work hard running the best organic & vegan restaurant Vegilicious in Huntington Beach, California. She just had a traumatic injury to both of her legs burnt severely and she is hospitalized. On January 19th, when she was serving one of the patio tables, her pants caught on fire from the butane gas heater and she was instantly engulfed in flames. Burns are all over her legs and buttocks. A lot of them are Third Degree (High) and the rest of them are Second Degree (Medium). She had 8 hours long surgery but her burns are too deep and too large that doctor couldn’t get to a skin grafting yet. Update: Last night she had the second surgery that lasted 11 hours and all skin grafting were successfully completed.
Ana and her husband Akira run Vegilicious by themselves, Akira cooks in the kitchen and Ana serves tables. Without Ana being able to work, it is very hard for Vegilicious to stay in business, which means they are losing their only source of income to pay for a huge medical bills. Please help fund Ana for a speedy recovery and to be able to walk again.
