Help Anneka get to Drama School

Hello everyone!
I'm so excited to be able to say that in the midst of the 2020 Covid craziness I was lucky enough to be offered a place on the 1-year course at The London School of Musical Theatre, an extremely prestigious performing arts training facility in the heart of London. The course has been pushed back a few times due to Covid and I am now due to begin my training in May 2021; anyone who knows me will know how much I love Musical Theatre and the performing arts, and to have gained a place at a school with LSMT's reputation is a dream come true for me and will hopefully provide a huge step forward in my professional career.
The one year course offered by the school is a high intensity, all-singing all-dancing top quality training schedule designed for slightly older students like myself with previous experience to give them the final push needed to break into the notoriously tough professional theatre industry.
As some of you may know, drama school can be a hugely expensive process. The course fees for the one year course at LSMT are £16,000 for tuition alone, and as a Yorkshire girl currently living back home in sunny Doncaster, this amount plus my living expenses in London will bring my total expenditure for the year up-to around £30,000 (yelp!) This amount needs to come wholly from myself and any fundraising I can do, as the school is private and is unsupported by the government, meaning no student loans etc are available. I have saved as much as possible through working as much as I can whilst I've been at home and intend to carry on working as much as possible until the course begins, although this has been constantly interrupted by both local and national lockdowns and I have now been furloughed since November due to the Covid restrictions. Unfortunately, no amount of working every hour of the day will be enough for me to solely finance my year of training alone.
I have written to and continue to write to as many charities and foundations as possible who provide various educational grants and bursaries in the hope that some might be able to help, however there isn't any guarantee that my applications will be successful- especially in such a trying time when the competition for such funding is exponentially high. In this light, I've set up this fundraising page as a platform for any friends/family/lovely generous people to help me on my way and help me get to drama school!
I realise how much of a difficult time it is for everyone at the moment, especially where finances are concerned, but any help at all would be so massively appreciated. Even if it's a quid here and there it will all add up and no doubt help me massively on my way to achieving a life long dream!
