Help Ansam and her family survive Gaza

Hi my name is Hope Hudson, I'm helping Ansam raise money for her family to provide them with much needed aid.

To every heart that still beats with compassion and humanity, two months ago, I found out I was pregnant. This news was supposed to be a blessing to my heart, but it has become a new burden weighing me down under these harsh circumstances.

Every night, I ask myself: How will I protect this child? How will I provide for him while we suffer under these catastrophic conditions? In this bitter cold seeping into our shabby tent, where my little girl shudders from the cold, and my elderly mother-in-law grows weaker by the day!

With donations declining, we are unable to secure even the most basic necessities. We are trying to hold on, but we are in desperate need of any support that will give us a chance at life. Any help, no matter how small, could mean a warm meal, a blanket to keep us warm, or medicine that could save my life and the life of my unborn child.

Please, I fear our situation will affect my baby's health before he sees the light of day. If you can provide any support, now is the most critical time, and we need you more than ever. Hello, I am Ansam Hamdan from Gaza, I am 23 years old, married, I have finished my university studies and I have a two-year-old daughter named Rital.

We owned a house in my city, Khan Younis. It was simple and full of warmth, but the war came and completely destroyed our house, and not a trace of it remained. We had started to build a life for our daughter, and the war came and nothing was left for us.

My husband owned a barber shop and worked in it, but it was also completely destroyed, with all its equipment. Indeed, we no longer had any source of income, not even a shelter to shelter us, so we were forced to move to a small tent.

Since our displacement, we have been living the worst days of our lives, suffering from a lack of money and food, water pollution, lack of sanitation, and the spread of diseases.

My daughter has suffered a lot and has been infected with many diseases, including hepatitis due to the widespread pollution. My heart breaks every time I see my daughter getting sick. I can't do anything for her, she needs medicine and antibiotics, which are also very expensive.

The war has been going on for a long time and was not expected. We have lost all our belongings and returning to our normal lives has become impossible. Therefore, we hope that you will help us and my small family to get out of Gaza to safety.
