Help Ansley walk again

Donation protected
On Thursday 8/8/19 Ansley woke up late for work.  She felt a little disoriented, started getting ready for work and that’s when she started presenting symptoms of unsteadiness, loss of balance and the feeling in her left side from her arm down to her foot was numb. She described it as the feeling when you’re foot falls asleep. Hours later, and a trip to the ER they would find out that Ansley was suffering from a brain bleed on her cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls motor functions. She was moved to the ICU Neuroscience unit, to begin further testing to see what and how this happened.

Her MRI showed she had what’s called a cavernoma, which is a cluster of blood vessels that walls itself off from the brain and because the walls of it are weak, it bleeds. Luckily hers is contained within itself, and seems to be somewhat stable so her neurosurgeon believes surgery is not on the table, right now. There is a possibility it could bleed again and she would present with the same symptoms and then surgery will most likely happen.

She has lost some motor skill function of her left side that will require physical therapy to regain. Coupled with the diagnosis, she will be out of work for awhile. Nothing has been determined on time to return to work but the priority is to get her healed and her to regain her function of her left side.

My sister is a hardworker and if she found out someone needed help, she’s be the first to offer it. Her and her wife depend on both incomes to get by so with her being out of work and the mounting medical bills, any help we can give them I know would be received with appreciation. And please keep Ansley in your prayers.
