Help Anthony & Kenny

Donation protected

On Friday evening, August 21st, Anthony Williams and Kenny Pittrel were part of a group of cyclists riding through the Fells Point neighborhood of the city.

As they rode west on Eastern Ave, a
driver of a red pickup truck drove
aggressively behind them, screeching his tires and swerving, striking one of their
group. Kenny and Anthony tried to
motion for the pickup to stop. Instead,
the driver of the pickup ran into them,
actually driving over their bicycles and
nearly severing Kenny’s leg in the
process.

The driver then fled the scene. Baltimore Police Department is investigating this
incident. Both Kenny and Anthony were transported to and treated at
Johns Hopkins Hospital and
are now home. Anthony sustained a
separated shoulder, a bruised hip, and
road rash. Kenny sustained serious leg
injuries including a nearly severed calf
muscle, a torn MCL in his knee, lots of
road rash, and a crushed ankle.  Their
bicycles were totaled when the truck ran over them.

They will both require lots of rehab. We
are hoping to raise money to help defray some of their medical costs and replace
their bicycles.
