Help Anthony and Chandler get back on our feet.

My name is Anthony Martinez, I’m a full time employee at Caltech and a full time Student at Pasadena City college, I’m currently enrolled in my last two online classes before I get my associates in business administration when the fire started. It’s just me, my wife Chandler(Chloe, my wife is getting
a name change ) and our 4 cats who lived in Altadena California, on Altadena and Lake avenue. We were evacuated and had to leave 90% of our stuff behind. We gathered essentials but just left everything behind. Chandler’s job burned down and we barely were able to get the Airbnb credit. That makes me the sole provider for us. We have many bills that we cannot pay and we need to find a new apartment, our landlord isn’t reaching out to us to provide our deposit and rent back so that just leaves us here. I need to finish this degree but I’m forced to put that on hold in order to find a new place for us to live, pay off bills, buy food, water, and essential supplies for my family. The money would be used so that we can move in, afford groceries, gas, food, new furniture, new household items, and keep up to date on our bills. If there’s any further proof or information you need from me please reach out to me.

UPDATE 1-11-25
our landlord reached out to us and was able to get our rent and deposit back which is $2,600 and some change so I will be lowering the goal to $14,000.
Thank you all who have donated we are beyond grateful for your support and kind generosity.
UPDATE 1-13-25
We have been looking at many places to move in, haven’t had any luck with our budget and current situation. Things are stressful but we are still treading on. All one bed and one baths are over $2,000 and we don’t have the stability yet to pull the trigger on any of them. We have no family to move into long term so we are really shooting for the stars. Thank you all who have helped us along our journey. We continue to be grateful for your donations and are so thankful for it.
UPDATE 1-22-25
I was able to get emergency housing through my job and we are considering staying here until our old apartment complex is finished. We are beyond blessed to have this life saving lifeline from my job, so far we have been to donation centers and were able to get plenty of water, food, and supplies. We have used some of the money to buy emergency supplies (for the next disaster), some furniture, groceries, and bills. Thank you all for your love and support. Also we have been saving every penny from my job for as long as we can just so we can save to secure us for this long year ahead of us. I will keep updating this until we reach our goal!
ALL UNUSED MONEY WILL BE GIVEN BACK OR DONATED TO OUR NEIGHBORS.
