Help Anthony & his daughter secure safe housing!

Anthony is a single father living in San Jose, who has been unhoused for the past two years with his young daughter. He’s been working hard to raise money to provide for his family, and has been working on his own product (a new type of door stopper) in order to sell to apartments and hotels. However, due to the pandemic, his business has been impacted heavily. Likewise, his current process for affordable housing has been taking longer due to everything going on. He’s been on a waiting list for a while, and it’s going to take even more time now. We spoke to him and asked if he would like us to start a GoFundMe to raise money on his behalf, which he consented to (along with sharing his story). Our goal is to get him and his daughter a place before the holidays, so that they don’t have to be out there during the cold and so that his daughter can experience a Christmas with her dad in a safe home to call their own. Both of them deserve that and more. We set the price at $10,000 in order to hopefully secure enough money for a down payment, 1-3 months rent, and any other necessities they need (like furniture, groceries, etc).
