Help Anthony and his dogs after the Palisades Fire

Donation protected
On January 7th, 2025, Anthony and his pack of nine dogs narrowly escaped the Palisades Fire racing down Tuna Canyon in Malibu. In their desperate sprint to safety, Anthony lost everything he owned - his home, all his personal belongings, and heartbreakingly, his three beloved cats. Since that tragic day, he and his dogs have been living in a rental car and hopping amongst friends’ places, dedicating most of his time since then to helping others in need as a direct result of the fires. Whether rescuing animals trapped in Topanga Canyon or assisting neighbors in evacuating, Anthony has continued to put others before himself, even in the face of his own loss.

A beloved member of the Los Angeles community for almost 20 years, Anthony has worked across all of LA hiking, boarding, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs, and is known as a guardian angel for all animals. He works tirelessly with dogs deemed untrainable, bringing them into his pack, and believes dogs can help heal and save human lives. Anthony has also been very active in programs like teenage rehab facilities and Hilary Swank’s Camp Hilaroo, and has volunteered extensively on college campuses, with children, and in the unhoused community, using his pack to provide canine therapy to people in need. At times, his own animal family has grown to over 15 dogs, 12 cats, pigs, rats, tortoises, and more, as Anthony takes in any animals in need.

Anthony’s life’s work is centered not only on helping animals directly and sharing them with people as therapy, but also on advocating for dogs, educating others about the transformative power of being around animals and nature, and supporting and bringing together his community. He would never ask for help himself, as he is known for his generosity, often giving the clothes off his back to those in need. However, we are now asking for help on his behalf.

Every dollar will help him recover from this unimaginable loss and continue his mission of caring for animals and his community. His dream has always been to dedicate his life to helping more animals while living as minimally as possible off the land. Please consider donating to Anthony and sharing this page with your friends and family. Together, we can help him rebuild and continue his incredible work.
