Help Anthony and Rose and their Family

Hello, My name is Rick Greves and I am fundraising for my friend Anthony Palomo and family. Anthony resides in Puyallup Washington and is a commercial driver and drives a cement mixer. On January 27, 2022 Anthony was involved in a very serious vehicle accident. While on his way to a job site there was a traffic issue involving several vehicles in the oncoming lane to his left. He saw it taking place and began to slow when suddenly one of the vehicles turned into his lane and hit his truck pushing him into a ditch which caused the truck to roll over.

Anthony was severely injured and immediately taken to a local hospital. It was determined by the medical staff that he suffered three broken vertebrae, two to his back and one in his lumbar, a fracture to his pelvis and fractures to his hips. His doctors explained that they would have to monitor him for a period of time for potential internal injuries. In addition there will be imaging to determine any soft tissue injuries. There are a lot of unknowns as there usually are with severe injuries and anybody that has ever experienced anything like this knows that it takes time.

Anthony is the sole income provider in his family which consists of his wife Rose and two of their children who still live at home and one young grandchild which lives with them also. His wife Rose has a full time job at home. Unfortunately rent, utilities and other bills continue to come due.

He was released from the hospital and is home now but is and will continue to be in a lot of pain as would be expected. Here is a quote from Anthony. "Anything helps, I can't go out to do anything. I'll be out of work for a long while. If you'd like to give a donation it would be greatly appreciated". It was at this point that I could see that Anthony needed much more help than we... his friends and coworkers... could provide. So I am asking the Go Fund Me family to please help Anthony with anything that you can.

Update:  Anthony continues to struggle with his injuries and and a recent prognosis  indicates that there will be an unknown period of time of disability and an indicated possibility by his doctors that  he may not recover enough to be able to return to his line of work.

Anthony is  one of the most decent individuals I've ever known. He is kind and considerate to everyone he meets. He has a deep faith and we have spent many hours in conversation  over the years  getting to know one another.  I have increased  the donation amount because
he truly needs it so once again I am reaching out to the GoFundMe community to give what you can. If you spent an afternoon with this man you would know what I know... and that's why I'm here.
