Help Anthony with medical bills and lost wages

Anthony was attacked Saturday night in Old Sac. He sustained some pretty bad injuries but luckily will make a full recovery. He’s currently at the UC Davis trauma center being treated for broken ribs, a punctured lung, and multiple contusions. As happy as we are that he will recover after some time. This will impact him and his business. As you may know he is one of the best dog groomers in Sacramento. He does everything in that shop including the heavy lifting of dogs. His injuries are going to impact his abilities to make money. His medical bills from this will also be astronomical as he is self employed. So we are reaching out to friends and family for anything you might be able to help with. It’s going to be hard for him to accept help as you know he is always the one doing for everyone else. I’m sure that very few people that know Anthony can say he hasn’t helped them in some way. So lets rally for him and show him how much we are here for him.

To Anthony Gonzales’s family and friends, this is Diana, Anthony’s friend and business partner. Our dear, noble Anthony was seriously injured early this morning. He sufferend a collapsed lung and two broken ribs. Good news is that I was just permitted a brief visit with him at UC Davis Med Ctr. He managed a few minutes of talk and asked that I convey to everyone that he is going to be okay!!

 

Right now the pain is quite something as is the discomfort from the drain in his lung. Once the drain is removed he will transfer to a regular hospital bed. Outlook on this is 2-3 days. He will have his phone soon but says it is just too painful to hold conversations. Also he knows he’ll be easily overwhelmed. So we both encourage you to reach out to me by Messenger, and I will share news and deliver your ❤️ to him.

 

Covid protocols remain in force at the hospital, so general visitation is not possible while he is in this unit and will remain so even after he transfers. To Anthony’s dad, I apologize.
