Help Antonio overcome and survive Cancer

At the beginning of my story is still confusing in my mind as I had to cope with many mixed feelings, anger, surprise, hopeless, denial and more specifically I felt like it was the beginning of a horror story with a script I didn’t choose and to add I was the main character. After just going for a minor wound in my ear the doctor had found a very aggressive type of skin cancer that had metastasized to some of my organs. The general doctor was concern that he refereed me as an emergency case to an oncologist. In less than a week I had my first appointment and just like that I became a regular not in one but in several hospitals, medical centers and had than 6 different specialists to care not only for my Cancer but try to prevent my organs from failure. The following weeks were even more confusing, with dozens of tests and contradicting diagnosis.

Right before I had a port installed for my chemo, my lungs collapsed and filled with fluid, as a result, I had a permanent drain coming from my lung in order to get the fluid out every 3 days, and after that procedure, the tumors spreader blocking my left kidney and my circulation on my leg, I had to go under the knife again to get a bag on my side to help my kidneys release fluids. When I finally was able to get my port installed, I was able to stared my Chemotherapy in February.

As I am blessed to be in a country where there are medical options, I am also facing risk of homelessness and other struggles as I cannot work due to my illness, I also have several medical bills that I cannot afford. At this moment, even with insurance each Chemo session costs me 2,000 USD. Adding all the previous tests, procedures and specialists.

It is embarrassing but after debating for several months, I decided to reach out to you, my friends, family, and people who maybe don’t know me but that somehow you came across my story.
