Help Apollo Fight Aggressive Lymphoma
Donation protected
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I never imagined I’d be here, reaching out like this, but I’m asking for support to help my beloved pup. At just four years old, he was diagnosed with early & aggressive lymphoma—a heart-shattering diagnosis that has given us only weeks left together.
The funds I’m hoping to raise will go toward the costs of follow-up visits, lab/bloodwork, medication expenses, and the overwhelming cost of chemo. If chemo turns out to be beyond reach, your kindness will cover his last check-ups, bloodwork, and, If/when the moment comes, the costs of saying goodbye, ensuring he leaves us with dignity, warmth, and love.
He’s not just my dog; he’s family, my soul in another form. The thought of losing him so young breaks me in ways I can't fully put into words. Every bit of help means so much. It brings comfort and peace to know that he’ll have the care he needs and that his last days can be spent with as much love and comfort as possible.
Any funds left over and/or exceeding medical expenses will be donated to reputable canine cancer foundations.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity—it means everything to us.
Key break down of costs:
Check ups/labs/bloodwork: $600+ per visit
Chemo expenses: $150 up to 600 per dose, Average cost of chemo is $3,000 up to 10,000 after completion.
Prednisone: $80 per script
Cost of Euthanasia/cremation: up to $200 average, and up to $300 average.
(Expenses were verified by his Primary vet)
Thank you for your time, God bless..
More about The special guy:
Name: Apollo
My Name is Apollo, my nickname is popo, or Poyo (coincidentally, this matches my free roaming, & occasionally timid personality). I am 4 years old, and my birthday is February 4th 2020. Even with cancer I still love to walk, run, jump, spin, “dance”, “hug”, and long board with my Mommies. Even on wheels they can’t keep up with me! My favorite healthy treat is carrots, and my favorite unhealthy treat is a pup cup (whip with a dog treat). My best friends are any tiny dog or my soul bestie, Shadow the cat. He helps me chase small prey, he growls at the pizza man while I bark, and he’s the best snack & sunbathing buddy ever! My love for kids is something unmatched, they make me so happy my deep bark turns into a puppy’s squeal. It’s the best! Especially when I see my nieces & nephews. But my favorite people are my grandparents or my uncles & aunties on both mother’s sides. I can never contain my excitement! My absolute favorite activities are running with the longboards or bikes, hiking, swimming, watching trains(!), going to the park, going for rides, eating snow/snowball fights & playing with my friends! I don’t mind being dressed up. And I can never sleep without my blankies or a stuffed animal (aka my baby!)…
I am truly, the best boy ever <3.
