Help Appalachian Families Survive Winter
Donation protected
The small mountain towns of Appalachia, who have lost everything, now need our help to survive the winter.
We are two friends from the Florida Keys (Traci Vorhes & Danielle Nannini) who have experienced the destruction and aftermath of hurricanes. Now living in the Midwest, we know the bitter cold. Our mission is to help the people with no shelter survive the upcoming months.
Western North Carolina holds a special place in our hearts. Our close friends, Dee and Reel, are now living in this national disaster area and are working tirelessly to deliver supplies to the people who are confined. Reel is a distiller and manager at Cultivated Cocktails, a distillery-turned donation distribution center for the past two weeks. What they NEED MOST NOW are HEATERS.
There are hundreds of people living in tents on their property who will go through the winter without shelter. Any donations made will go towards providing these families with gas-powered heaters, which will be shipped to the Cultivated distribution site and dispersed to the families in need.
COAT DRIVE
In addition to heaters, we will also be collecting winter coats and gloves at these two drop-off locations:
The Groomed Goddess Spa in West Bend, WI
Anasa Salon in Park Ridge, IL
Thank you for your help in bringing the HEAT from the Midwest!
