Help April Buy A Home

Hi there,

Thanks for looking at this fundraiser! My name is Zayna and I am trying to raise $8,000 by 2/5/22 to buy my mother a home of her own, given this once in a life time purchase opportunity.

It's a very long story, but the jist of it is that my mother has been evicted from her current apartment due to new property owner more than doubling the rent. This has been an ongoing battle since the property was purchased in January of 2021, but it is finally official, ordered by a Judge to be out by the end of March 2022.

For those of you who know my mother, you know she is a fiesty, kind, free spirit and would give you the shirt off her back if necessary. If you frequent the Dollar Tree in Exeter, you've likely talked with her and I'm sure she has told all about the best items the Dollar Tree has to offer!

The last 5 years have been really tough on her, like most of us, and she needs her own stress free space.

A man she was close to recently passed away and has left my mother the opportunity to purchase his mobile home in the amount of $25,000 cash. The stipulation was 14 days from 1/22/22, or they will list it at full list price... likely over $100k.

I currently am about $8-10k short of the $25k that we need to make this happen for her.

No one should be forced to be homeless. I would take her in myself (and of course will if I have to), but I already have a very full household and it would not be good for either of us to have her here... to protect what's left of our sanity.
