Help April Fierro win the war against cancer!

Hi my name is Monique and I am putting this fundraising together for someone that is very dear to my heart, my family, my friend, April Fierro. As many of you know she has been fighting cancer for some time now and unfortunately she didn’t receive great news from her last scan. The tumor sitting on her pancreas has grown and it’s blocking organs. It’s blocking her spleen and her remnant stomach and will be having surgery next week. Radiation has caused inflammation also so it’s super distended, meaning she may have to have a G-tube put in. April will also have to go back on Folfirinox (chemo she did her first go around) and it is awful but does help. Due to her ongoing radiation treatments and feeling badly April has not been able to work in over a month. She is a PACU RN and currently on short term disability that isn’t paying at 100% so financial needs are not being met. April is usually the one making sure everyone around her is ok, and now she needs us. This news brings co-pays, deductibles for out of network doctors, co-insurance and costly medications, not to mention her and her sons day to day living expenses. April Is a single mother of 3 beautiful kids, one being a minor still living at home, and of course the mother to her dogs Gigi, Bruno and Dexter; they need her around for a long time to come!
