Help April Survive While Sick
Hi, I'm April. I've been sick for well over a year with symptoms consistent with post-COVID syndrome, but unfortunately, my current medical provider will not give me a diagnosis. I've been on medical leave from work, which has been unpaid for almost all of that time, and I'm running out of money. In theory, I should have received long-term disability payments from disability insurance, but because I don't have a diagnosis of post-COVID syndrome, I have been unable to prove to them sufficiently that I am disabled. I'm hoping that with a little money, I can survive a few more months to return to work part-time. The money will go towards rent, medical tests and treatment, and food.
As it is now, I have less than two months until I'm entirely out of money. If I run out of money, I will have to rack up credit card debt. I am enormously grateful for all of the help so far, and any amount of future help means the world to me.
Thanks,
April

Addenda:
- If I do eventually get disability back-payments, I will give all money from this to others in need (probably to transition funds).
- I have updated the description to have more up-to-date information. You can find the original description in an update post.
