HELP ARBER GURI RECOVER FROM MASSIVE BRAIN SURGERY

Tonight, I am speaking out of behalf my family. I am urgently seeking help for my brother who has recently undergone brain surgery due to severe hemorrhage stroke. As some of you know my brother Arber Guri has been a truck driver for 20 plus years. He is currently batting a severe medical condition in Dallas, Texas. My brother is a Canadian Resident and the accident happen in Dallas, Texas.

What happened?

On July,2 around 12:30 pm my brother was rushed to the Hospital (Baylor Medical Center) by the ambulance that was called by some stranger around who saw my brother lose consciences. They saw him falling down while going to his truck. He was not able to talk, he was not able to answer any question and on the right side of his body he was not moving his arm or his leg. Right as soon as he was at the ER the neurosurgeon had to put a breathing tube in to be able to breath, because he wasn’t breathing enough when he fell.

The neurosurgeon took him to OR because he had so much bleed in the brain that it was coming out of his nose and mouth. The doctors had to remove half of the skull so, they can go into the brain and remove the bleeding. Right after that he was put into medically induced coma. We as family did not know which hospital he was rushed to and could not get much information of what was going on because none of us was put on emergency contact( we would communicate through his truck company only) After a lot and a lot of phone calls, his wife flew from Canada to Texas, and I flew from Florida to Texas to go to the hospital where my brother was hospitalized.

The doctors are saying he had so much brain damage that they don’t think he would be able to have the ability to ever speak, talk, write, read, walk, or comprehend again.

How can you help?

While this is going to be a long journey for all of us and specially for him and his wife, I know that the medical bills and treatment Arber would get are very overwhelming. Our goal and the doctor’s goal are to airlift Arber to Canada as soon as his condition is stabled. When would that happen? We do not know, but wat we know is that the cost of the transfer would be around 70K. As he continues to fight this battle, we humbly ask for your support to help us cover the costs of specific needs or expenses, hospital stays, and other unforeseen costs.
