Support for the Camara Family

Dear family and friends,

We are hoping to help our sister Kenzie and her small but mighty family. As many of you know, 2024 was an exciting year for Kenzie and Cam as they welcomed their perfect son, Archer, in October. However, the last few months have been challenging as they manage Archer’s complex medical needs, including hospital stays, multiple specialist appointments, and frequent trips to Boston Children’s Hospital.

While adjusting to life as new parents, Kenzie and Cam are also facing significant financial strain. Kenzie, a dedicated high school teacher, had planned to return to work in January, but due to Archer’s ongoing medical care and to help prepare him for an important surgery ahead this summer, she needs to stay home with him longer than expected.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of her job, Kenzie’s family medical leave is unpaid, which has put tremendous pressure on their finances and the out of pocket medical costs that are not covered by their insurance plan.

This is where we can all make a difference. Kenzie has always given so much to her students, family, and community, and now she and Cam need our help to ensure that she can stay home with Archer and provide him with the specialty care he needs during this critical time.

Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly to supporting the family and Archer’s medical bills.
