Help Archie Godfrey Defeat Cancer

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Liz and I am raising funds on behalf of Archer (Archie) Godfrey. A six-year-old sour patch kid at heart, Archie is a curious curmudgeon who is sweet, loving, witty, and very literal just like his mommy. A thoughtful little man, a great friend, brother, lover of cats and someone who can scream at a pitch that makes others drop and cover -- okay, he hasn't done that in a couple of years but I can still hear the supersonic sound to this day.

On December 6, 2022, after a week of a weird tummy bug, Archie was admitted to Children's Hospital with a shocking diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He was immediately sedated, incubated and run through an extensive set of invasive testing while his loving parents sat idly by watching and watching helplessly for several days.

After a few weeks in the hospital, things were looking up and an early January release date was planned. Archie was given a pass to go home for a few hours to celebrate Christmas Eve with his family, but due to the side effects of the cancer-fighting medications, he wasn't feeling well. He returned to the hospital only to experience further complications in the coming days and the early January release date no longer a possibility.

It's no secret that medical costs in the US are extremely high for long-term stays and rigorous treatment plans like Archie's. To alleviate this one pressure for the Godfrey family and allow them to focus on what is most important, we are turning to all of you to ask for help. Please consider donating in any amount and/or sharing with others to expand the reach of this message. Help Archie fight cancer and live a long, healthy, prosperous life. Help his family overcome the trauma this experience has surely caused. Help his brothers stay postive. And help ensure his cat, Lucille, can soon have cuddles from the only human she tolerates. Archie Drew we love you.

A message from Archie's Partents as of December 31, 2022:
Archie's prognosis is relatively good, however, there have been a handful of added hurdles that have certainly complicated his journey.

It's impossible to truly put into words how we're doing... but we're fighting alongside our boy and so proud of the resilience he's shown thus far. We have a very long road ahead of us, so if you could keep us in your thoughts/prayers/good vibes/magic spells... we'd be so grateful.

He is, today, doing well. Smiling and joking and telling me I'm pretty annoying. His curmudgeon personality that we love so much is strong, and we wouldn't want it any other way.

Here's hoping 2023 has a few miracles in store for us and a lot less pain.
