Help Ari Adopt a Dog

As most of you know, I am obsessed with dogs. I had the honor of being step-parent to Hiccup, the German Shepherd, and he got me through a lot of the tougher parts of the pandemic.

I had planned to adopt a dog this past spring but had to leave an unsafe situation suddenly. During that process, I burned through *all* of my savings and now cannot afford the up-front cost of adopting a dog.

For context: most adoption fees are about $400-500 plus the cost of food, treats, poop bags, food/water dishes, a crate, collar/leash, any checkups after they come home, etc. It adds up really quickly.

I have a dog prescription from my therapist (or, as some call it, an Emotional Support Animal letter), which would allow me to adopt a dog without any additional fees from my apartment management company.

If you're able, please help me find my Avocado Marie and bring her home :)
