Help Ari create diversity in Music Therapy!

Music Therapy is a specialized field, and currently, there is little to no ethnic or cultural diversity in either patients or practitioners.

 

Hi, my name is Arianna Beasley. I have recently been accepted to the University of Georgia, Master Equivalency Program in Music Therapy, beginning in Fall 2022. This program will allow me to enter and complete a Master of Music Therapy degree by Fall 2023, preparing me for licensure as a Music Therapist. My goal is to help individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety, and Trauma through music.

 

Because my undergraduate Music Degree, which I am finishing in May 2022, is not in Music Therapy, I have to complete this non-degree earning bridge into the Master of Music Therapy Program, which Financial Aid does not cover. I cannot raise the money on my own, so I am asking for your help to cover the cost of one academic year.
