Help Ares with Post-Op Expenses

Hello everyone!

My name is Ares, and I am a nonbinary person attempting to raise money for my top surgery.

I was lucky to be approved by insurance, so as far as I am aware, I will not have to pay out of pocket.

Back in December, during my first consultation, I was told the waiting period was a couple of months out, after June 2025, so I was able to start putting money aside for any extra expenses and bills that needed to be paid while recovering, of course. In February, I was told my surgery would happen a lot quicker than planned, this March to be exact.

I am currently a college student while working as an in-home care provider getting paid minimum wage. I only get a few days of sick leave, and with all the upcoming bills as well as having to scramble to get everything needed for post-op recovery, I am starting to see some financial struggles coming my way.

The after-surgery compression vests alone will be around $300+

I am not asking for a lot, and anything will help.
