Support Ariana: Student Loses Home & Car in Same Week
Donation protected
Hello! I’m Aunt Mimi and my niece Ariana (22) is facing an overwhelming series of setbacks that would test anyone's resilience. This week, her apartment she’s lived in for 4 years, her home, was destroyed by fire. While we're deeply grateful her cats and personal belongings were spared, the building has been declared uninhabitable. As if her luck wasn’t already running low, her car, which was in the shop during the fire, now needs repairs that far exceed its value. Both these events are just so unexpected and a lot to manage all at once.
What makes this situation especially poignant is knowing who Ariana is. Since turning 18, she has embodied independence and determination, working two jobs while pursuing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Michigan (I'll boast and add, as a full-time student on the Dean's List). With graduation approaching this spring, she's dancing with the idea of law school as her next step. Those who know her have watched in admiration as she's overcome every obstacle in her path with grace and determination.
This extraordinary young woman, who has consistently shown she can handle life's challenges, is now faced with the daunting task of securing both new housing and transportation this week. While we know she'll overcome this too, we're reaching out to help ease this burden. Any contribution toward helping Ariana rebuild her life would be deeply appreciated. Your support will directly help her secure new housing and reliable transportation as she continues her inspiring journey.
Thank you for considering helping this remarkable young woman get back on her feet. Sometimes even the strongest among us need a community's support to weather life's unexpected storms.
