Help Ariel Gelman fight stage 4 pancreatic cancer
Donation protected
I am Karen, a close friend of the Gelman family since there Aspen days. It’s with a heavy heart that I share the news of Ariel Gelman’s battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Diagnosed this past September following severe lower back pain, Ariel has since embarked on a challenging journey, surrounded by the love and support of friends and family.
Ariel, a dedicated landscape architect at Blu Design, has bravely stepped back from work to focus on his health. His wife, Cecilia, is balancing her time between caring for Ariel and managing her business, Cecilia Tanoni Interiors. Their daughter, Francisca, is juggling her studies at the university with frequent trips home to be with her family.
This situation has placed a significant financial strain on the Gelman family. As both Ariel and Cecilia are self-employed, their ability to work has been greatly impacted. Despite this, Ariel’s resilience shines through. He remains spirited, retaining his quick wit and Argentinian charm.
Ariel has responded positively to chemotherapy, with some liver metastases disappearing and a reduction in the size of the pancreatic tumor. His optimistic spirit and strength in these tough times are truly inspiring.
To support the Gelmans during this challenging period, we are setting up a GoFundMe campaign. Our goal is to alleviate their financial burden, allowing them to focus on Ariel’s treatment and recovery without the added stress of financial worries.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will be a tremendous help to the Gelman family. Together, we can provide them with the support and strength they need during this difficult time.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Karen
