Help Ariyana Rebuild After Dad’s Passing & Eaton Fire

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Neil. I’m writing on behalf of my girlfriend, Ariyana Griffin, who has been through a tough few weeks.

She recently got accepted into her dream doctorate program at USC, and was really excited to continue her education at USC. It felt like everything she’d worked for was finally coming together, until her dad passed away unexpectedly. Then, just two weeks later, her family home burned down in the Eaton Fire. Everything she and her mom owned was destroyed. In the span of those few weeks, Ariyana lost her dad, her home, and all of her belongings.

Her mom worked so hard so that Ariyana could commute to USC and fulfill her dream of earning a doctorate. Now, that dream feels so far out of reach. Even if she can secure enough financial aid, she no longer has a home to commute from. Neither of us ever imagined that she’d be in the position of asking for help like this, but she’s lost everything, her place to call home, basic necessities, and cherished memories she regrets not packing.

I’m humbly asking for your support for Ariyana and her mom. Your kindness will help them feel a bit more secure while they figure out their next steps. It will allow Ariyana to replace basic necessities such as clothing, toiletries, and other everyday items she once took for granted.

She never thought she’d be asking for help like this, not when she was worried about paying for school or grieving her dad. But now she has no place to call home and no belongings to her name. She wants to be there for her mom after losing her dad, but not knowing where they will live temporarily or in the long term scares them. She can’t do this alone, not without the help of friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals who want to make a difference.

Your generosity will help them recover a fraction of what they lost until they can get back on their feet, replace necessities, and hopefully secure a new apartment. Furnishing even a simple apartment with the bare essentials will take time and money, and it won’t be easy for just the two of them to manage.

Every single donation, no matter how small, will help her and her mom get through these tragedies. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing her story. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read this and for any support you can provide.
